Tachikawa nib holder for lettering and drawing nibs. Lacquered wood barrel and comfortable blue rubber grip. Unlike conventional nib holders which use a type of metal spring to hold nibs in place, the Tachikawa nib holder uses a series of close fitting plastic rings which allow it to hold both large and small size dip pen nibs. Also included with this nib holder is a plastic cap which can be placed over the top of the pen allowing you to leave a nib connected at all times. This cap also posts securely when the pen is in use.
